Fill level control

Check for underfill AND overfill in one unit, also for metal labels or opaque containers, bio-compatible: For use after the filler and capper, to for check the fill level of glass and PET bottles with the aid of infrared light and two variably positionable point detectors.

To check the fill level for any underfilling and overfilling in glass and PET bottles, easy handling. The inspection is carried out by an infrared measuring method (absorption) by two independently adjustable measuring spots. Optionally, the bottle can be inspected for the presence of the cap. The point of installation of the fill level inspection unit is usually at the outfeed of the filler or the outfeed of the labelling machine, with limitations (see below).

Comprehensive statistics for the individual types of faults are available. A serial fault detection is implemented. Connection to an external production data acquisition system is optional.

The inspection head can be adjusted when changing the bottle type via a handwheel height adjustment. In addition, the measurement point for overfilling can be manually adjusted independently of the measuring point for underfilling.

Not suitable for bottles labelled at the fill level and swing top bottles with a fill level at the bracket area.

Automatic request of the specially prepared and marked test bottles to check the flawless operation of the inspection machine. The test bottles are marked with reflection foil (One sheet of reflection foil 230mm x 100mm is included. The test cycle of the test bottle request is based on time and freely adjustable. Free selectable signal output for the test bottle request. Logging of the last test bottle run in the inspection system and, as an option, in the production data acquisition software miho Awes, incl timestamp (not included).

To detect the presence of a metal cap (crown cork, screw cap) via an inductive proximity switch. Including height adjustment for different bottle heights.

For detecting the presence of a plastic cap by means of a width measurement of the cap diameter. Suitable for glass bottles and PET bottles. Including height adjustment for different bottle heights.
