miho TOP-Cam

Free-flow camera lighting unit for checking container features located at the top or bottom. Especially for checking reflective containers such as cans or metal closures. The feature to be inspected is over powered by reflections.

  • Control of features such as BBD, LOT no., on closures
  • Inspection of the base when the container is turned upside down
  • No need to align the containers

No alignment of the containers is necessary.

The inspection is carried out using a colour camera and a reflection-free LED lighting system.

The containers can be checked for the following criteria, among others:

  • Presence and completeness of the coding (BBD, LOT number ) via serial defect detection
  • Colour recognition of the closure
