Fill level control miho Newton X2Z
Checking for underfilling AND overfilling in one device, universally applicable: for use after the filler and seamer and with the aid of an X-ray source and a line detector. The device can be used with almost all beverage containers, such as beverage cans, bottles and carton packs.

To check the fill level for any underfilling and overfilling in bottles and beverage cans, regardless of the product or the label (metal foil is also possible).

The measurement is based on an X-ray technology especially developed for this purpose. By using a line detector (fill level measurement range: 20mm), it is possible to accurately inspect any underfilling or overfilling with just one inspection head. Minimum radiation exposure, since pulsed X-ray radiation is only generated at the short moment of measurement. The radiation emission is typically below the naturally occurring levels in enclosed spaces.

Comprehensive statistics for individual types of faults are available. A serial fault detection is implemented. Connection to an external production data acquisition system is possible.

The inspection head can be adjusted by using the handwheel height adjustment. The point of installation is normally at the outfeed of the filler or at the outfeed of the labelling machine.

Automatic request of the specially prepared and marked test bottles to check the flawless operation of the inspection machine. The test bottles are marked with reflection foil (One sheet of reflection foil 230mm x 100mm is included. The test cycle of the test bottle request is based on time and freely adjustable. Free selectable signal output for the test bottle request. Logging of the last test bottle run in the inspection system and, as an option, in the production data acquisition software miho Awes, incl timestamp (not included).

To detect the presence of a metal cap (crown cork, screw cap) via an inductive proximity switch. Including height adjustment for different bottle heights.

For detecting the presence of a plastic cap by means of a width measurement of the cap diameter. Suitable for glass bottles and PET bottles. Including height adjustment for different bottle heights.

Additional sensors to record and inspect the presence of natural cork by means of a light sensor. Including height adjustment for different bottle heights.
